Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager, she has been at the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as crisp and sweet but with a little bite. El Mal Querer is her 2nd album, which was made available in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, received an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. The album was released on March 20th, 2022 in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman to win both of these awards.
